神流川のミサゴ
藤岡在住の英国人の女性の方から下記のメールが届きました。ミサゴらしき鳥を新町の神流川で電車から何度か見たそうですが、ミサゴに間違いがないか知りたいとのことです。どなたか観察しておられる方がいましたらお知らせください。
Dear Sir/Madam
I am an Englishwoman living in Fujioka. I just wanted to say that I have been seeing an osprey on the Kanna River this month from the train as it crosses the river by Gateau Festa Harada. I had never seen one before but I am certain it is an osprey. In the first week of September I think I saw it three times, once in the morning at 7:30 on the left hand side of the train heading towards Jimbohara Station, and twice on the opposite side of the bridge around 5 when travelling back in the evening. I have just seen it again on that side this evening at about 5:15, so I'm very excited. When I see it there, it is always sitting on the long branch of a tree on the Shinmachi side of the river. I think the branch is of a tree which has fallen over and is lying in the water. (I can't quite remember.) Tonight it flew off as the train went past. Other times grey herons sit there. I would like someone more knowledgeable than me to go down there and take a look to confirm it. (Or to tell me I'm mistaken.). Thank you!

9月初めの週と書いてありますが、9月末か10月初めの意味ですとの訂正の追加メールがありました。
スマホのスクショの画像が添付されていました。新町側にある木の枝とのことです。川の中に倒れている木らしく、その枝にミサゴが止まっているようです。電車から丸見えみたいですね。
新町さん、神流川で画像にある場所ですか？
ミサゴは常に移動しています。特定の流木ならば多野藤岡分会の担当者に確認させてください。
藤岡市在住の方であれば分会に担当させるべきです。一度探鳥会を実行している現場です。
追加文言です。野鳥の会群馬として「画像の確保」を分会に指示してください。
